During the 1950-60 many of the people of this road were owners of their own business. there was rules on the deeds of the houses. hedge all round the front garden, gate. flowers in the garden in summer flower boarder with grass in the centre. This was after all called an avenue. In the spring time most of the trees in the avenue would be out in full bloom of double pink flowers.
